Reprising their hugely popular portrayals of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, Colin Baker (Doctor Who, The Brothers) and Terry Molloy (The Archers, Davros) are back on stage in two thrilling adventures to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Sherlock Holmes in 2027!

With A Study in Scarlet being Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's first Sherlock Holmes novel and The Valley of Fear being his last, this pair of classic tales make an ideal pairing to celebrate such a literary milestone in one evening.

In A Study in Scarlet, Dr Watson's search for lodgings leads to an introduction with Sherlock Holmes - and so begins the most popular detective partnership in history! They are summoned by Scotland Yard after the discovery of a dead man in an empty house - with the word 'REVENGE' written beside him in blood. But whose is the wedding ring that lies beneath the body, and how is the affair connected to a pair of wealthy Americans who have recently arrived in the capital?

"I have been in the Valley of Fear - and mark my words, we are not out of it yet!"

Sherlock Holmes detects in John Douglas's violent death, the hand of the criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty... but how could the murderer arrive at Birlstone House undetected, when it is entirely surrounded by a moat? And what part has the scheming Mrs Douglas played in this diabolical affair? Before the case is solved, the moat must give up its secrets, and the Douglases face the full force of "the Napoleon of crime".
